CSS 3 and RGBA colour
06 December 2008
The first alpha of Opera 10 is out and comes with some nice new features, one of which is support for RGBA, which I've been using on my personal website since I did my emergancy "I need to market myself" redesign.
In honour of Opera, and thanks to some prodding from Drew and Peter, I've documented the technique.
CSS 3: RGBA today covers the syntax, fallback to a colour, fallback to an image, and includes a handy technique for generating translucent 1x1 images from the command line.
If you spot any errors or omissions, please let me know. Thanks.
